"How can you be so cruel? That's you're only son! He could have died!" Ashlee yelled her voice trembled a bit.
"Listen! I don't need me some life preecher here so why don't you take your boyfriend here and have him knock you up, alright? Believe me James is the leeast of my worries as soon as I get him out of here back out on the streets he goes." Claire confessed coldly.

Luke narrowed his eyes. "Mrs. Darko, all due respect, you don't need to broadcast your excellent parenting skills in the middle of the lobby. Also, most girls aren\t like you, going around sleeping with people to pass time."
He shook his head, disgusted, grabbed Ashlee's hand and yanked her over to where Caleb and Tiffany stood, wide-eyed.

She led the way back into the room.

Claire narrowed her eyes at Evelyn as she approached with Joel, Claire approached them halfway, Evelyn's eyes bugged out.
"You again! I knew this had something to do with you! Whatever stupid thing that boy does you always seem to be inovolved!" Claire hissed at Ev.

Joel hugged back and then followed after Evelyn into the hospital. He couldn't help but smile just a little as he kept his eyes locked on Evelyn.

Evelyn blinked. "Wait...what?" She looked around, her eyes meeting Ashlee's.
She swallowed and glanced back at James\ mother. "Yes, this was my fault. I admit that. James really had nothing to do with it." She forced down a lump in her throat. "I sorta really pissed him off."

"Why would I be responsible for the death of the man I love? James was the one driving the night of his accident, he was the one who crashed and had the car blown up. If he OD's tonight I'll be the happiest women alive. Even if he slipped into a coma I would tell the doctors to pull the plug he isn't worth my money or time." Claire replied angirly to Ev.

Joel grit his teeth. If he wasn't so above hitting women he would have by now pounced on this...this...she-beast! For some reason when he heard the way she spoke about James he thought of his father and that pissed him off beyond all reason.
"So you wish your son...your own son never existed then? Because that's what it sounds like. That's beyond cruel...that's just disgusting." He growled.

Joel looked at Evelyn and saw how upset she was with this woman. If he was beyond pissed, she was at a whole other level. He gently placed his hands on her shoulders, as if to tell her it was okay, that he was there.
"And to think...James turned out as decent as he did after growing up with you." He shook his head in disgust at the woman.

James watched the automatic doors swing open slowly to see the whole party had come to the hospital.
Along with his mother Claire who was sending death glares to Evelyn and Joel.
James sighed and rubbed his head quickly Here we go He thought making his way towards everyone.
Everyone's eyes fell on James as he walked towards his mom relcuntaly.
Claire dug her nails into his arm, "What the hell are you stupid or something? What made you do that?"
James winced and pulled his arm away from Claire, "I didn't do it on purpose, it was an accident."
"The only accident here is you." Claire replied coldly.

Luke's eyes widened. He'd just opened his mouth to say something but Evelyn beat him to it.
Her hand swung out, connecting with Mrs. Darko's cheek.
A collective gasp filled the room. Evelyn, Luke realized, was shaking with anger. She turned around, pushed past Joel, and stormed out, grabbing Luke's Coke as she did on her way out.
Luke turned to meet James' dazed gaze. It had happened so fast, no one else walking in had noticed.
