This one is supposed to be a new verse for the Song "Everything You Know Is Wrong" by Weird Al Yankovic. I decided to include the original chorus with it as well. If this doesn't really count as poetry feel free to delete this post...
My Own Verse
I was talking with my eternal best friend
When I found out he was actually a Satanist
And challenged him to a swordfight duel and fought him
And by the finish he quite literally lost his head
And while I'm running from the cops for murder
I run into a giant wolf and almost slay it
But it turns out it's my werewolf ex-girlfriend
Who as it turns out never really hated me after all
So as we team up to beat the entire free world
We pull out three giant machine guns
And here we take aim at them all
When my father jumps in and shouts
Everything you know is wrong
Black is white, up is down and short is long
And everything you thought was just so
Important doesn't matter
Everything you know is wrong
Just forget the words and sing along
All you need to understand is
Everything you know is wrong

Looking back on the argument
All of it seems to turn into a big blur

Wow... okay, you have a rhyme scheme, but uh... did you cheat on your girlfriend and get caught,then dumped?
and um... that line... that nun line... I'm not even religious and I find it offensive. x_X Wow... well okay, its an alright poem with some pretty good emotion behind it.
